Machine Learning Engineering (MLE)
We focus on building and deploying AI systems end-to-end. Members will work on everything from data preprocessing and model design to training, evaluation, and deployment in real applications. Team Leads oversee project direction, break down complex tasks into clear milestones, mentor members, and ensure high-quality deliverables for our partner organizations. Engineers focus on the hands-on development of our AI systems. They take ownership of core technical tasks such as data collection, preprocessing, model training, evaluation, and integration into larger pipelines. Engineers are expected to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, while also collaborating closely with teammates to solve challenging problems.
Meetings
- —Once per week (specific days/times TBD once recruitment is finalized and on TL & Engineers availability)
- —Members should expect to commit 5–10 hours per week across meetings, coding, and research
- —Once a month, we'll hold a longer "sprint session" to push forward a specific deliverable or solve a particularly tough modeling challenge
Who We're Looking For
- —Solid background in machine learning and coding (Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, etc.)
- —People who enjoy experimenting with models, tuning hyperparameters, and troubleshooting pipelines
- —Engineers who want hands-on experience building production-ready AI, not just running APIs
- —Team players excited to collaborate closely and learn quickly
Veda Kaustubh Anumala
Quant Team
We focus on building market simulation models and developing trading algorithms. We are a primarily research focused team. Alongside technical work, we'll host events to introduce people to quant finance and (hopefully) organize speaker panels. Event planning will mostly be handled by team leads, but members are welcome to help if they'd like.
Meetings
- —Once per week (Wednesday 7-8pm)
- —Members should expect to commit 7–10 hours per week in total for meetings and project work
- —Once a month, we'll likely have an extended "deep dive" session where the whole team sits down to grind through challenging logic and modeling problems

Bioinformatics
Our Bioinformatics team leverages AI to analyze biological data, develop computational tools for genomics, and advance personalized medicine research.
